FOR THE FUTURE

Watch this space for further details on planned Show Handling Training Sessions for those new to the Show Ring and for those wanting a refresher course.

PEDIGREE PAWS UNITE

The Woolytop Bedlingtons will be representing our breed, together with their owners Sheila Baldwin and Annie Offer, by participating in Pedigree Paws Unite, the charity walk planned by the Peek A Boo Trust between Monday 12th and Sunday 18th September 2016. It is hoped that over the seven days, representatives of all 215 Kennel Club recognised breeds will take part. Each breed represented will be required to walk approximately 5 miles on one day, and each breed will be required to raise a minimum of £150 which will go to the Peek A Boo Trust for distribution amongst their seven nominated charities. Days 1 – 6 consist of different stages throughout England Scotland and Wales. Day 7 takes place at the Darlington Championship Show, at Ripon Racecourse. Sheila and Annie will be walking on Day 1 - Fleam Dyke near Cambridge, please support them generously, as it is a very worthy cause. To donate online please use uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/PedigreePawsUnite and leave a message stating the breed or person you are supporting.

FUN DAY

Our Fun Day was a great success with a number of Bedlingtons and other canine friends. The winners of the Fun Dog Show are pictured below. In the lunch break our visitors were shown how to keep their Bedlingtons tidy using just a comb and a pair of scissors by Annie who has been owned by Jed her Bedlington for just 21 months, but who has many years of grooming experience.
